Bluetooth communication between DVISION App and DVISION
The data displayed in the DVISION is transferred from the DVISION app to your smartphone via Bluetooth. Bluetooth is a data transmission between devices over short distances (max. 10 m) via radio technology. If Bluetooth is activated on a device, a special chip sends a unique 48-bit long serial number to the outside and simultaneously receives the serial numbers of other devices in the environment in Bluetooth mode. Only if both users agree, the devices are paired and can transmit data via radio. Therefore you will be asked to allow Bluetooth on your smartphone and to pair your smartphone with your DVISION when starting the DVISION App. The data traffic takes place exclusively between the paired devices. You can terminate the Bluetooth connection at any time in the settings of your smartphone. The display of the data from the DVISION App in the DVISION is then no longer possible.
Firmware update DVISION
A firmware is preinstalled on your DVISION. We regularly develop this further and provide updates free of charge on our server. You can download the update with your smartphone and transfer it to your DVISION via Bluetooth. When your DVISION app establishes a connection with our server, access data is collected. The following data is collected: dynamic IP address, date and time of the download, amount of data transferred (or packet length), message whether the data exchange was successful. The dynamic IP address is reassigned by the mobile network provider for each Internet access and changes at the latest every 24 hours. We have no knowledge of the IP address. The data traffic is encrypted according to the state of the art and cannot be read by third parties. The access data is temporarily stored for the duration of the access. The temporary storage is necessary so that DVISION App and our server can communicate with each other and transfer the update. This is also our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO. The data is deleted as soon as the access is finished. The collection and storage of data in log files is mandatory for the provision and download of firmware updates. Consequently, there is no possibility for the user to object.
For navigation purposes, the component "HERE Maps" of the company HERE Global B.V, Kennedyplein 222-226, 5611 ZT Eindhoven, Netherlands, hereinafter "HERE", has been integrated into the DVISION App. For route calculation and speed measurement, this component requires your location data. Location access is only granted if you give your consent to this when starting up the DVISION App. If you download additional map material via the DVISION app, your device connects to the Here Maps server. The data is not passed on to us or third parties. The legal basis for the location access is your consent given when starting up the DVISION App according to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO and for the collection of any access data when communicating with the provider's server according to Art. 6 (1) sentence lit. f DSGVO the legitimate interest to provide you with the map material. You can stop the collection of location data at any time in the settings of your smartphone. You will then no longer be able to navigate in the DVISION or display the speed. You can find the complete data protection information for the component here: https://legal.here.com/de-de/privacy/here-wego-here-application-or-here…
You will be asked to grant the DVISION App the phone status permission and contacts permission when setting up the DVISION App. The phone status permission is required for displaying the call status and the contacts permission for displaying the caller name in the DVISION. These authorizations are only used for displaying the call in the DVISION. A storage of the call and contact data in the app or a forwarding to us or third parties does not take place. You can end the access at any time in the settings of your smartphone. You will then no longer be able to display calls in the DVISION.
